I wanted to write a review of this mouse after 3 years of use. To start I dont like Dell to much, but this was beging sold rebuilt on ebay a few years ago and I couldent pass up the price for bluetooth. It will link right to my computer with no problems at all and will stay added, even in between battery changes. The battery life for a wireless is insane infact I can go 3-4 months with it though normal use and a month or so if im playing allot of games. Of course this is not a gamming mouse and so by no means shall I compaire it to one. I have droped this mouse well over 10 times with no dammage it always seems to be falling from somthing. Usally that is my fault leaving it laying around.No transmiter needed if you have built in bluetooth less parts to loose or break. It very egernomic on the hand and I never feel ocward using it. I use it on allot of surfaces. the laser will pick up on leather, cloth, wood, carpet, Mouse pads. just not glass. I Would buy this mouse agian and agian with no hasitation thou I probley will never need to since this thigs works perfect. Knock on wood.

logitech mx518 perfect hand feel awsome mouse broke after 7 months. laser died.
logitech G7 agian amazing hand comfort, horable battery life. Broke after 5 months My fault I bent the wireless transmiter.

Don't buy these, there are so many with bad tracking and random doubleclicking.
The one I have almost always registers a double click on a single button press.
It also randomly stops tracking and then starts up.
Eats alkaline Duracells like it owns stock in the company.
The design and feel of the mechanism is nice, just that the internal firmware is bad.

I got this mouse years ago with a keyboard and mouse combo. Has always performed flawlessly for me. For the past year it's been paired to my iMac and it's doing great.
