Looks good - just what I wanted July 23, 2010 Dean Bender (Calif. USA) This monitor is a great value. I hooked it up and haven't look back. I am not a technical person with monitors nor am I a gamer but I want lots of space to have multiple programs up and visible. This certainly does the trick at a very good price.
HDMI Fail, Poor Controls July 12, 2010 Michael J. Ryan (theroughnecks.net) Honestly, the picture quality is really good at this price point, there are a few poor points however. First, the settings menu is horrible and unresponsive most of the time. It tends to take 2-3 key presses in order to get it to actually go. Second is a much bigger issue to me. I wanted to use HDMI for my inputs, and on this screen I get about a half inch of border on the top and bottom of the display, and about an inch on either side. If you get this monitor don't plan on using HDMI for the input, and as others have said, don't plan on using the built in sound. I'm keeping them, but would probably look around more in the future. I have two of these side-by-side and the picture is decent, so go with it for that, but use DVI.
Major problems after just 2 weeks? June 16, 2010 T. Whiting (Iowa) I've got to say that I'm far from unimpressed with this monitor. Having had the monitor for less than a month, I am discovering major pixelation, some screen burn-in and other major problems.
The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because of Amazon and their return policy . Thankfully, they're shipping me out a new one today, I can only hope that it's going to be better than the first one.
Beautiful monitor at a great price. June 2, 2010 Joel Lovato (Ontario, CA United States) Bought this monitor for my parents. They had been using a 17" screen and this monitor has made it possible to enjoy more of what their desktop has to offer. Image quality is excellent although it's not exactly like my parents are playing first person shooters at a high frame rate. Videos play beautifully with no noticeable ghosting. The built in speakers are rather weak but I was expecting that based on past reviews. Only one HDMI slot but that's all I would need. Limited swiveling capabilities but love that you can mount it. Overall, a great monitor in and of itself, but even more so when you consider the value it represents at its price.
good monitor but the controls suck May 23, 2010 C. Lowe (Chicago, IL) monitor works great - very happy with that aspect. the control buttons don't respond about 60-70% of the time. Doesn't sound like I'm the only one with this issue. Makes it VERY difficult to adjust brightness levels etc.... you've been warned!
