Once you figure out the way it attaches to the kindle, it is all set and you never have to remove it or adjust it. I like how it makes it look like a book or dayplanner when its closed, so it is less of a eyecatching theft target. It keeps the kindle cleaner. It does not seal it in any way so I wouldn't consider it protection from water. I barely notice it when I'm using the kindle.

Fits very well on kindle, attractive, and completes "the feel like a book" experience of the kindle. Protects the kindle well, very comfortable. I highly recommend it.

both of our Kindles (can you buy only one?) are brilliant, living on an island far south in the Caribbean the Kindles allow us to get the latest books at a decent price and in 60 seconds!
newspapers and magazines are not so good on the device, at least not the version we can get (regional preferences)
Not sure how it works, our intenet was down and Kindle still downloaded a book in less than a minute.
