 Doesn't Works great Like the add said. December 24, 2008
I loaded the software like the instructions said.br /When I plugged in the cable Windows went into it's "Found New Hardware Wizard" and after a few minutes reported that it could not find a driver for it. br /I also put a program called "setcom.exe" and when the shortcut is clicked window error reports that it can't find the file. I looked for the file myslef ( I am a advanced PC tech/User) and of course it is not to be found.br /Tried removing the applications and reloaded the CD not help. I've contacted the seller and their Tech support has given me a possible solution but I haven't had the time to try it yet.

I bought this because the power adapter for my original Palm V charger died, and because I lost the travel charger I bought to replace that. This thing is about the size of sync cable alone (from the travel kit), and yet it charges and syncs my Palm. Installation was pretty simple- you have to install a driver, and I'm still a bit confused over whether Hotsync is using USB or Serial (so I just have both of them checked), but it works just fine. Just connect the Palm, press the sync button on this unit, and leave it connected to charge.
