All ports auto-negotiate port speed, making them ideal for offices requiring Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) connections for desktops and office servers, with the ability to handle older desktops still running at Ethernet (10 Mbps) speeds. Also, ports automatically adjust to the Ethernet (auto MDI/MDIX) cable type, simplifying installation.
