This can play anything - just what I needed January 9, 2009
I needed a stereo that would play the music I had recorded. This plays regular CDs, CD-R, CD-RW. You can load 3 CDs to extend the playing time. Clear beautiful sound. It looks pretty good too. The price was terrific for all the features it has. It is large 10 x 24 inches and 12 high. I was expecting it to be big according to the reviews I read before purchase, but it is even larger than I had imagined. I do wish it had manual equalizers on it so I could get the exact sound I wanted.

The sounds are just right even though it is not as pretty as I would have liked, but it provides hours of musical enjoyment.

Let me start off by saying, all in all I'm happy with the stereo system for the money. It's a little larger than I'd like as I gave it to my wife as a gift for her to put in her office which has limited space. Also the FM reception is poor at least inside the office where my wife works. I'm planning on picking up an external FM antenna in the hopes that it improves reception. Sound quality is good and the remote is a nice feature but the controls are a bit confusing to switch between different functions. Maybe because we're over fifty, I have trouble with my cell phone at times. I would recommend this unit for anyone wanting to purchase a reasonably priced compact (I wouldn't call this a mini system) stereo system for a garage, workspace or child's room.

This stereo system is awesome! I bought it for my 12 year old son, sort of a "coming of age" Christmas present. Well, he does not even have the volume past three and I have to tell him to turn it down!!!br /It is clear as a bell with Cd's too. Very Powerful for any age music lover! The price is a steal for this very impressive system. I would highly recommend it anyone.

I purchased this system for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She really rocks out with it; its just the right size and the price was right.
