Starts out Great, Doesn't last. August 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The little side switch wears out after about 4 months and can no longer power it on. The switch is prone to accidental being turned on a killing your battery. The battery also wore down and only got about 2 hours before the switch broke and made it useless. Warranty, was in the United Kingdom so you had to pay shipping to the UK to get it replaced and took about 5 weeks. When it was new it worked great, It just didn't last long.
Good Device For A Good Price July 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great alternative to a traditional GPS unit if you are comfortable using a smartphone or PDA. It links easily with devices running Windows Mobile and generally locates satelites quickly. I used it on a trip from Florida to New York city and back. Driving in the city was very easy with the help of this GPS (using Microsoft Live Search).br /br /The only problem I had was that the battery ran out and I only had a USB cord to charge it with. Now I have a car charger for it so that I won't have that problem again. If using turn by turn navigation, it will be necessary to have your phone/pda/device plugged into to a car charger (if using on an extended road trip). br /br /I definitely recommend this product to some one that doesn't want to spend the money on a traditional GPS unit. This GPS is much more flexible (since it is as good as the latest version of whatever navigation software you use on your phone or device). br /br /*Note: it is probably necessary to have unlimited data internet through your phone in order to get the most out of this item when using a cell phone.
B-Speech Rocks! April 20, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I simply love it. It works perfectly with gMaps, Live Search and Mapquest Navigator. I run it with a T-Mobile HTC Dash. Battery lasts for well over 10 hours with constant use (I drive a tow truck so I am always using Navigation).br /br /I storngly recommend this device!
Handy Little GPS March 26, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Very nice product. I got it to go with my phone and use with Google Mobile Maps. Works great and is easy to use. My only complaint is that have to pair it everytime I turn it on, but that is a minor issue. Price is great and the size is nice. It is about the same size as a car remote but about twice as thick.
