Marantz includes Audyssey MultEQ, a sophisticated auto-calibration system that helps you get the most accurate home theater sound possible. The SR5003 uses the supplied microphone to analyze sound from up to six different listening positions, then automatically adjusts the settings for each of your speakers. The result is accurate response across a wide listening area instead of just a single "sweet spot," so everyone in the room can enjoy precisely balanced home theater sound. - Video Up/Down ConversionThe SR5003 can take an analog video input (composite, S-video, component) and up-convert it to HDMI so the video signal can be passed through the receiver's HDMI terminal to your television via a single HDMI cable up to 1080p. The SR5003 can also take any of the receiver's analog video inputs and up-convert or down-convert them to any of the unit's analog video monitor outputs (composite, S-video, component). - The Marantz BD7003 can output 1080p/24 and pass the native bit stream of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HS Master Audio soundtracks over its HDMI 1.3 connection, but it does not have the onboard high-resolution audio decoding and multi-channel analog audio outputs found on the high-end model. It's best mated with a receiver that can decode Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. ---- The KEF KHT 3005SE home theater package combines the acoustic performance you've come to expect from Kef with a unique, yet elegant design.
