Product Description The Pioneer AVIC-Z3 has features like voice recognition, updated 3D landmarks and a hard drive music library. With the built-in voice recognition, you can speak commands to the AVIC-Z3 and the receiver will perform the task. Tell the receiver to change tracks or play music files off the internal hard drive and instantly the receiver will follow your commands. The AVIC-Z3 takes advantage of a new mapping feature, Point Addressing. Many destinations are now geocoded to a precise location, rather than to an address range, making routing more precise than ever before. The AVIC-Z3's graphic map interface features 3D landmark icons for airports, amusement parks, golf courses, stadiums, and zoos. POI icons appear on the map en route, making it easy to identify the locations closest to your path. The receiver learns your preferred roads and routes and makes those priorities over other routes. 64MB internal memory 3-band parametric EQ 24-bit DAC Supertuner IIID AM/FM tuner - 18 FM/6 AM presets Dual Zone Gracenote CDDB XM and SIRIUS Satellite Radio-ready Compatible with Pioneer's iPod interface adapter, Bluetooth adapter, and DVD/CD changer audio/video input, rear-view camera input, front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs, and tri-zone capable

AVIC Z3 installed on a 2008 Tundra November 19, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this product two months ago after intense research. I love it! br /So far I'm still learning all of its features and capabilities. Driver's view is awsome. Learning mode is pretty nice as well. br /What I like the most about it is the Hard Drive. You just shove your CDs in it and in about 8-10 minutes it's recorded with all the CD info as well. I thought that was a pretty neat feature since you do not have to mess with expensive Ipod adapters, CD changer, or anything of that nature.br /Navigation is pretty accurate and up to date. Navigation Menu is also very easy to use. br /I also plan on installing the headrest screen for the rear seats. I already installed the cables. I am still researching for a headrest screen.br /I did not install a blue tooth adapter so I have no idea how that feature works. The voice command however takes a bit of getting used to. The microphone is sensitive enough. Mine is inside the dash below the steering wheel and it works fine.br /br /Pros:br / -outstanding graphics.br / -easy to navigate through the menu/features.br / -dual zone capability.br / -10GB of HDD for music/pics/movies.br / -easy to install even for DIY types.br / -plenty of display modes to keep you entertained.br /Cons:br / - I still have not figured out how to turn it off other than shut off the vehicle and remove the keys. Hopefully soon.
Great DVD/Nav system August 5, 2008 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Installed this in a Sequoia. Installed a back up camera, blue tooth mic, and XM Satellite radio module along with this unit. Installed easily. The DVD screen is great. It tilts when the unit is turned on for less glare and a better viewing angle. The controls are very intuitive. All functions work properly. The nav system works great. I've had a Magellan and a Garmin Nuvi before, and this Pioneer unit is as good as or better than both of those. Several views are possible depending on your viewing preference, and there are fewer streets not on the map than with either Magellan or Garmin. I think this is the best value in 2DIN units currently on the market. I would buy it again.
