 Big sound, small price! January 8, 2009
I was looking to buy a good surround sound system for my Sister and her husband for Christmas. I searched online and went to appliance stores but I couldn't find anything that fit my budget. I found this one and to be honest it's a better brand name than some of the more expensive ones were at BestBuy or places like that. The sound quality is AMAZING! I have heard a number of different surround sound systems and my parents have an expensive BOSE set up and honestly if you position the speakers correctly it will give the BOSE a run for it's money. The upconvert DVD player is very nice for those of us not blessed with BLUERAY. Plus it has five discs so if you're as lazy as I am you'll be glad to hear it. All said it done it was fast delivery, more affordable than most systems out there, and easy to install and set up. I can't wait to move into a bigger place so I can buy one for myself.

Ok for a first system January 6, 2009
This is a good system, sounds good, simple to set up.br /I do have a couple of complaints, 1) the system has no HD input, so if you want to upgrade to Blu-Ray later, or use your cable box, you have to switch between inputs on the TV. 2) the remote control is not programmable, and only works with a Sony TV, so you will need to keep both remotes handy.
