Product Description The unique flared-end construction of the Precision Port#153; system enables it to outperform any standard port tube on the market. Conventional tubes suffer from nasty turbulence at the entrance and exit of the port, producing unwanted noise and poor sound quality. The Precision Port#153; system overcomes these problems and as a result can actually produce a gain of up to 3 dB in output! Now you can experience good looks, low distortion, and superior overall sound quality thanks to the Precision Port#153; system. Convenient front screw holes make this tube easier to install than others on the market. Create a port up to 17" long, then glue with PVC glue found at any plumbing supply house. Installation instructions included. Also available in 2", 3", and 6" diameters.

Sounds good and its Cheap July 14, 2008 General infobr /br /I used this port to create a home theater sub using the Dayton MKIII 15" woofer. For this installation I have the port mounted in the back with the sub facing forward. I can easily say that I cannot hear any port noise. My subwoofer response is quite low, dynamic and smooth. Even at high volume levels I dont hear a hint of the port. br /br /Installationbr /br /The product was quite easy to install. 1st cut the port to desired length, 2nd glue together using a strong adhesive ( i used krazy glue) 3rd position then cut out a hole in your sub box for the smaller end of the port, 4th mount using 4 screws ( these are not included). br /br /I would recommend this port based on its efficiency, low cost, and ease of installation. br /
Nice port. Sounds great. Easy to install and tune. April 6, 2008 I got some indoor PA 15" subs that thump much harder now, and stay flat to 35-40Hz in a relatively small box. No chuffing sound!!
