This sleek boom box provides big stereo sound in a compact and lightweight body.p The Audiovox XMB-10 has a built-in dock for the Audiovox Xpress XM7 receiver, and requires this receiver (purchased separately) in order to provide you with XM satellite radio. The XMB-10 features enhanced sound reproduction from its high-quality 4-way speaker system, and an integrated XM satellite antenna that removes the hassle of attaching an external antenna and fumbling with it to achieve the best signal. This boom box features a stylish black and silver body, a digital volume control, and separate remote volume control capabilities.p The Xpress XM7 receiver has the primary controls for your XMB-10 boom box, with its own buttons, including display, search, menu, rotary/select knob, power/IR eye, memory, preset/direct, jump, and 10 presets/numbers. The display button lets you choose between artist, song, title and data service info, while memory lets you store up to 20 song/title/artist combinations so that later you can look at something that caught your interest. Not only does this receiver provide plenty of music and radio stations with dynamic means of searching for desired content by artist, genre, or others, but it can provide you with a stock ticker that allows you to monitor up to 20 stocks, plus it offers information extras so you can follow things like the scores for your favorite sports teams. I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He has the Audiovox Express EZ unit, and even thought it doesn't say it's compatible, it is. Nice size, easy to use, cranks pretty well for its size too. This is a perfect unit if you have the inexpensive audiovox receivers and want to be able to listen to XM in your home. br /As for the reviews about the antenna not working and it being a piece of junk- we had no problems at all. Before you buy it, just make sure you aren't living in a bunker without windows. For those who complained about the sound quality- please! It's not a BOSE Wave!! The sound is definitely not crystal, but if that's what you are looking for, don't buy a $60 boom box- duh!! Can't wait to take this on camping trips this summer! I am happy with this product and so is my boyfriend!!

i was holding off purchasing this radio due to the negative reviews ive read. What a mistake. This radio works absolutely perfectly. Reception is crystal clear without having to move the sat. ant. It certainly beats having to buy another sat. radio for the home. I highly recommend this item.

Like the title says, we are amazed at the sound quality--especially at high volume. Distortion is virtually nonexistent even at maximum volume.br /br /We haven't used it on battery power yet, so I can't speak to battery life.br /br /I would recommend this product to any XM subscriber.

As a confirmed Fox news junkie and a lover of many diverse styles of music this unit fits my needs completely. Sound is quite good, the antenna picks up well even through moderate tree growth. Gives me a chance to keep up with the latest, in these times of change.br /br /
