Good features -- hand sets with design flaw May 16, 2007 I have had mine for a few years. Problem: keys that became extremely difficult to use, then the display on one was unreadable and one is losing its display. However, I have one in my barn whose keys I covered with plastic wrap and tape to keep dirt out. While it is somewhat unsightly it is still is working *perfectly* despite being outside in the summer heat and sub-freezing temps. I just retired one of the original handsets because its display was unreadable and the keys almost impossible to use so I did the plastic wrap trick on the remaining ones, as well as the new one I just bought.br /br /I really don't want to replace the set because of the features. I really like the speaker phone feature -- I hang it on my shirt and can walk around hands-free and continue my conversation (or stay on hold waiting for customer service) without having to stick something in my ear. The intercom feature is great because I can summon help when I am in the barn, and the base has 3 mail boxes. None of the new ones I have seen have those three features together, that I can no longer live without. br /br /I will keep replacing handsets as long as the base continues to live -- until and unless I find another with all the features. br /br / br /
Should last longer April 23, 2007 I purchased the ATT 2320 phone system with three expansion phones (ATT 2300 2.4 GHz DSS) approximately two years ago. The system worked great for the first year with good sound quality and easy conferencing. However, over the last several months we have noticed that several of the number pads on the phones are difficult to press or simply don't work at all. As an adult-only home we expected the phones to last longer since we weren't using them excessively or treating them roughly. We are down to only one workable handset in which the numbers do not stick. I would not purchase this product again.
ATT 2300 2.4GHz Expansion Handset February 6, 2007 Terrific features for a compact device. I especially likebr /the sound quality of the speakerphone feature.
