Product Description
The 540A v2 sounds more powerful than its specs would indicate, thanks to oversized toroidal transformers, which deliver class-leading power levels. The short signal path maintains signal purity. Bass and treble controls let you contour the sound to your liking, or use the 'direct' bypass button to keep these controls out of the signal path. Six line level inputs plus two tape loop outputs give you plenty of capability. There's also the option of adding a high-quality moving magnet phono stage later, when it becomes available from Cambridge. Two pairs of speaker outputs per channel make the 540A v2 ideal for multi-room operation.
