Our Super Wedge acoustic wall tiles were designed to help control low frequency response problems within a room. Virtually all rooms have 90 corners where two walls come together and meet a flat ceiling. This corner, commonly referred as a "trihedral corner", can boost bass frequencies as much as 9 dB! By placing Super Wedge tiles in the corners (in an alternating pattern) from floor to ceiling, these low frequency anomalies can be controlled. Note: We recommend you start with Super Wedges in each corner. If the problem persists, you can add more wedges horizontally from the corner along the wall/ceiling juncture. The Super Wedge is made of open cell polyester foam that's flame retardant in accordance with UL 94 HF-1 flammability testing. The design is very pleasing to the eye while offering outstanding low frequency sound absorption qualities. Practical 12" x 12" tile size makes installation a snap. The perfect solution for recording studios, auditoriums, home theaters, anechoic chambers, radio stations, and more. Tiles easily installed with any foam spray adhesive, we recommend 3M Hi-Strength 90. Tile size is 12" x 12" x 5". Sold individually. Charcoal gray color.
