Although this is sold as Acoustic Dampening foam, be aware that it is a Closed cell foam that DOES NOT function as well as Open Cell foam for noise reduction. However it does wipe clean easier.br /br /I purchased it to isolate mechanical assemblies from vibration. Works great in that application.
