 Nice Basic Radio January 2, 2009
If you are looking for a small, portable basic AM/FM radio, you can't beat this. It has regular dial tuning, a fold out antenna, strap and most importantly clear reception on AM and FM channels. Nothing fancy at all about this little radio, but it works great and is definitely a great price!

Bought this for my husband who works the night shift as a doorman in NYC. He loves it. Now he can listen to his favorite radio show at night. We even ordered 2 additional radios for his co-workers. Excellent quality and value.
 Excellent for the price December 16, 2008
I was looking for a small, light, portable radio with a speaker. This one fits the bill. It's very light. The sound is decent enough for its size. If you crank the volume up too high, the sound might get harsh. But that's ok since I take it around the house with me when I do chores. It fits what I need. With the price of around $15 or so including shipping, I'd say it's well worth it.

This is one of the most spectacular AM/FM radio that I bought recently. I was looking for a radio to listen to baseball games of my favorite team. The station is located pretty close to another one in the dial and it's difficult to tune it on but with this radio I did it easily and I'm very happy with it

Great reception. No drift. Excellent sound from this tiny speaker, with just the right amount of retro tinniness and NO buzz. It's amazing that a product that has been around for over 50 years continues to be developed and improved. All this for about half the price, in NOMINAL terms, that my Dad paid for the one he bought me when I was in grade school.
